Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Akane Sushi in Carrville. The service was top-notch, as the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. To my surprise, we were even treated to a complimentary fish head and noodle soup, which was a delicious start to our meal.The standout dish for me was definitely the sushi pizza. The deep-fried rice with salmon and mayo was a perfect combination of flavors and textures. It was a unique twist on traditional sushi, and I highly recommend trying it.The handroll was also outstanding, as it was stuffed with a generous amount of fresh avocado and salmon. The combination was delicious, and the roll was expertly made.Lastly, the tempura batter was perfect. It was light and crispy, not at all greasy. The shrimp and vegetables were cooked to perfection, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite.In conclusion, Akane Sushi in Carrville is a must-visit for sushi lovers. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the overall experience is fantastic.

I had dinner there the other day with my family. When I came in, I was hoping to get some great sushi, and well, it was Okey.. nothing too exciting. My sister got the tuna and salmon Poke bowl, which was diaspointing. It felt like a salad with fish and rice as you got dipper in, but it definitely pooks nice. Would i get it again? Probably notAs well as you will see some interesting roll and sashimi selections. I haven't tried any of the cooked meat, but for sure would have loved too, saw some people get it, looks and smells very very good.To follow that, otherwise, everything was great, the stuff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasing.BTW, shrimp tempura a must try in this restaurant.

The sushi at this place had a fantastic flavor, but I must admit that I was disappointed with the size of the pieces. I can't understand why someone thought it was a good idea to make them so large, as it made them difficult to eat without feeling like I was choking. The enjoyment of each bite was diminished as I struggled to gulp them down. Due to this issue, I have to deduct a star from my overall rating.However, I must commend them on the freshness and careful preparation of the sushi. Each set that arrived at our table was well arranged and visually appealing. Aside from the size problem, the overall experience was positive, and the quality of the ingredients was evident.Despite my reservations about the size of the sushi pieces, I would still recommend this place for its fresh and well-prepared sushi. Just be prepared to handle the larger portions when you visit.

We had dinner here a few weeks ago and really enjoyed our time there. The sushi was delicious and was presented in such a beautiful way. We love when they bring it out on the boat, it looks fantastic! The service was quick and the server was kind. I would definitely return in the future!

Its our first time to try this restaurant. We tried salmon lovers set. It was really delicious and fresh. So far best in town. Definately going back for more. Highly recommend.

This might be my new go to sushi place! The restaurant name has “express” but there is plenty of seating if you wish to dine in. The service was so friendly, the restaurant was clean, and most importantly, the food was great. The tempura was cooked in clean oil, battered well and perfectly crispy. The sashimi was thick and fresh, rice in sushi and rolls were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Their tea, miso soup and complimentary starter were also great. Can’t wait to come back with my friends and family!

It's been a very long time since I had amazing sushi! The flavors and freshness are melting in my mouth. Great service even for takeout! they gave me two complimentary miso soups. While I was waiting I enjoyed listening to their music, it added to the atmosphere.

We were in the area and wanted sushi, so we decided to try this place out. We had a really pleasant experience here and were sooo glad that we discovered this place! We ordered a love boat and a scallop roll (both pictured). The fish tasted really fresh and high quality and the rice were cooked just right too. The scallop roll was also very yummy!! Our server was very friend and attentive and ensured that we had a good time. We'll definitely be back more in the future.

So excited for this place to open at this location. I liked them before they moved here, and it's even better now. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and they've done a fantastic job with the new space. The quality of the food is great, and of excellent value. They have many menu options and good presentation. The rolls are amazing, the poke bowls are good too, and appetizers are delicious. The sushi love boat is a favourite item on the menu. I look forward to trying more of their items, as I will be back there many times.

Take out for Mini boat, Spicy Salmon Roll and Fire Dragon Roll. The ingredients were fresh and the rolls were decent. I will try the dine in next time.
